Job Details

  • This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a newly established construction company who specialise in the construction and development of high end residential and retail property
  • This is a newly created Head of Finance position to report into a CFO and work with a Family Office
  • This role will suit you if you are still hands on and happy to be the go to person for all things finance both internally and externally

Client Details

  • My client is a newly formed construction company who have a number of exciting development plans in the pipeline which will keep you busy for the next 36 months
  • Most of the projects will be in prime London locations
  • You will have a high profile role, being the go to person in finance and having daily interactions with the C suite and owners of the company
  • This role will require you to be on site or in the office most days of the week

Description

  • No two days are ever the same so what you'll be up to will vary. The pace they move at also means priorities will change and you'll need to be comfortable with this
  • Reporting into the CFO and investors of the company, you will oversee the day to day running of finance
  • You will have a number of stakeholders to manage; external and internal
  • You'll work with site managers, project managers and the likes to manage project spend
  • You'll have oversight over the cashflow, budgets and forecasts
  • You'll be supported by an assistant accountant

Profile

  • Qualified with at least 5-10 years of post qualified experience
  • Experience working in the construction industry
  • Be able to demonstrate that you can comfortably work in a small, fast-paced, agile environment
