Your new role

In your new role as Trade Control Compliance Officer you will aide the Group Sanctions and Trades Controls compliance teams and will report to the Head of Trade Compliance working in a team of 10. Essential tasks you will be undertaking will involve the likes of governance such as checking high risk trade approval forms and checking local markets and group function outstanding actions.

You will also undertake trade and licence management activities, which will include checking key supplier product data and modernising their licence register and external modernisation to licence conditions. Legal support is another key area, and will require you to offer assistance to local market trade control champions to assess contract clause risk. An additional activity will be the communication and training, and you will be providing basic training to stakeholders new to the field as well as participating in the creation of quarterly team newsletters. Digitalisation such as running digital tools including the Chatbot will also have to be managed.


What you'll need to succeed

• A high amount of experience dealing with trade controls compliance.
• Extensive experience with developing and rolling out compliance frameworks.
• Educated to Degree level.
• Significant knowledge of UK, EU and US export control.
