Job Details
This role will be responsible for managing a small team, leading the month end process, P&L reporting, providing information to support business development & new tenders. The role has come up due to an internal promotion, and there is plenty of opportunity for this role to grow and develop within the group.

My client are a very successful logistics business based in Merseyside.
Description
- Manage and develop small finance team (2 people)
- Oversee and review the weekly P&L reporting and provide weekly costing support
- Provide financial information to support the business development team and regional head of management accounts to support new tenders
- Lead the month end process and provide support to the finance team
- Attend customer meetings as finance lead
- Understand commercial agreements and closely work with the commercial lead to support any price reviews
- Providing MI information to key stakeholders and developing a relationship with the senior operational team to improve efficiencies and profitability at site
- Lead annual budget process and periodic forecasting for those P&Ls responsible
- Invoice and credit control customers and update Company cash forecast
- Numerous ad-hoc reports and project tasks as required from the Regional Head of Management Accounts or General Managers
Profile
- Qualified or QBE accountant
- Ideally management experience, or at least mentoring/ coaching experience
- Management accounts experience
- Driven to learn and develop
Job Offer
- Salary up to £45,000
- 10% company related bonus
- Hybrid working- 3 days office, 2 days at home
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
