To manage and maintain the financial reporting for the group, as well as develop systems to support such reporting and ensure control processes are efficient and accurate.

Our client is an international, innovative organisation that are market leaders within their sector through the innovative technology that they develop and manufacture. They're looking for a motivated professional to join their fast paced environment for an interim opportunity.

Description

  • Lead the finance team (total 14 heads)
  • Prepare monthly Statutory accounts, and reconcile to management accounts
  • Single point of contact with International Accounting Department for communications and queries around statutory reporting
  • Act as primary point of contact with the Group Auditors, and act as the lead contact for actuals and consolidation
  • Ensure the monthly Global Balance sheet reconciliation review is performed and that issues are identified, and then resolved efficiently and accurately
  • Work closely with Internal Audit to own, implement and refine controls

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) and have experience in a similar role previously
  • Have worked in a senior role as part of an international group within a technical accounting environment
  • Have detailed knowledge of IFRS, consolidation accounting and fair valuation
  • Strong systems/process background. Knowledge of Tagetik would be highly favoured
  • Be a team player, with ability to interact at senior management and Board level alongside an ability to challenge peers and seniors in a constructive and professional manner
  • Be available to start working with them by end of September
