Management Accountant

Part-Qualified Management Accountant job, Surbiton, Global Travel Company, £45,000 per year

You will be working for a market leader, prizing innovation and staff development. Based out of smart, corporate offices, you will join a dynamic and busy finance team, looking after one brand in a premium group. They have undergone significant post-pandemic growth, and are keen to bring in a fast-track, ambitious new team member to capitalise on this period.


Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines. You will produce quarterly group management reports, prepare accruals, prepayments and VAT returns, and be involved in inter-company balances and accounting. You will prepare accurate and complex balance sheet reconciliations, requiring high levels of accuracy. You will also assist in internal and external audits.
You will be involved in commercial decision making, preparing detailed and insightful analysis of key variances with budgets and forecasts, breaking down large quantities of data into meaningful insights.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be part-qualified, studying towards an Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). You will have experience producing management accounts and owning complex balance sheet reconciliations. You will have gained experience within a similar role in a large company, leaving you comfortable with high value business decisions and large quantities of data. You will have strong communication skills and be able to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders from both financial and non-financial backgrounds. You will need strong IT skills including Sage and Microsoft Excel.
