Your new Head of Finance job will be at a growing SME where you will be part of the senior leadership team to oversee finance, team management and partner on strategic planning. This is a key role to support a business who have continued to grow and win market share.
Your new role
Reporting into the MD, as Head of Finance you will be taking on all aspects of accounting overseeing the finance department on a day to day basis covering management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, commercial reporting, project reporting as well overseeing the finance team and at year end liaising with the accountants on statutory reporting and audit. As this is a fast paced, entrepreneurial business, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and partner closely with the sales and operations managers on projects, delivery and ensure margin, revenue and profit is inline with expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification, you should have experience in all areas of finance, reporting and ideally have exposure to project accounting. Team management experience is also key. Most importantly is the confidence to build relationships internally and be prepared with ideas to help positively impact the business as they continue to grow alongside a flexible approach which may see you involved in transactional work one day and strategic planning the next!
