An opportunity has come up for a Senior Finance Analyst to join this close knit London team due to someone making an internal move! You will provide critical support to the internal and external financial reporting, planning and consolidation processes for the group.

Description
- Involvement in all aspects of the group's financial reporting, working closely with the Group Financial Controller and Head of Group Reporting, ensuring that all month-end reports and submissions are accurate, timely and fulfil all statutory requirements.
- Provide key support to the Group Reporting Manager with the preparation and production of the group's annual report, interim report and quarterly interim management statements, and work with the Head of Investor Relations to provide content for related announcement presentations.
- Preparation of the monthly group consolidation journals and balance sheet.
- Assist the Group Reporting Manager with the production of technical papers to support the accounting treatments adopted in the FS. Liaising with the Financial Control Committee and external auditors on these judgemental areas.
- Be responsible for the accounting processes for the group's share based payment arrangements.
- Assist the Group Reporting Manager with the preparation of forecasts for the group regulatory capital surplus position, including scenario modelling.
- When required, work with the Corporate Projects team to perform financial modelling and forecasting to supplement corporate/individual acquisition projects
- Assist the Group Reporting Manager with the acquisition accounting for any group business combinations.
- Carry out other Finance-orientated projects and adhoc pieces of work, relating in the main to financial reporting, both internal and external, and forecasting and financial modelling.
Profile
- Newly ACA qualified - trained within an Audit practice of any size
- Financial Services experience is desirable
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
