Accountancy Practice - Manager - Full or Part time considered

Your new firm
You will be working for a well established firm of accountants based in the heart of Oswestry. The firm are a general practice and offer a range of services to their extensive client base, inclusive of accounting, tax and payroll. Following a period of sustained growth they are now looking to add a Manager/ Senior Accountant to the team to manage the workflow and a small portfolio of clients.

Your new role
As a Manager/ Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of clients made up mainly of owner managed businesses and SMEs. You will delegate work and ensure the targets/ deadlines are hit by junior team members. This role will see you review the work produced by team members as well as prepare statutory accounts for more complex clients. Both personal and corporate tax returns will be a part of this role and you will liaise with clients to discuss their accounts before submission to companies house.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must be a qualified accountant - either ACA/ ACCA will be considered. You should also have experience working within an accountancy practice and be capable of managing a client portfolio as well as supervising staff. Cloud based system experience will be looked upon favourably.
