This market leading, top 100 firm are looking to appoint a new audit manager into their progressive and diverse Chester team. This incredible opportunity has arisen through an extended period of organic company growth, leading to the need for a manager to support the partners. Your new role
As an audit manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire audit engagements from planning through to completion. During this you will delegate and review work completed by seniors and juniors, whilst offering solutions to the more complex issues. You will regularly interact with clients, explaining findings as well as offering solutions to any issues or problems that arise. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring the more junior members of staff, aiding with their own development and progression.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) accountant with a strong previous background in public practice. The ideal individual will be completely comfortable with the entire audit process, as well as have previous experience in managing both clients and staff. You should also be able personable and confident, able to develop strong professional relationships.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of between £45,000 and £55,000 (DOE) as well as a range of company benefits including but not limited to: employer matched pension, life assurance and a healthy holiday allowance.
