A well established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Altrincham are seeking an experienced practice accountant to join them as an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant on either a full time or part time basis. This is a great opportunity to join a small but friendly team and undertake a varied role.

Your new role
As an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant you will work with the managers to deliver a range of accountancy, tax and outsourcing services to a portfolio of clients. Day to day duties will include preparing, finalising and submitting statutory accounts, preparing both corporation tax computations and personal tax computations, ad hoc management accounts, VAT and cashflow forecast work. You will be responsible for liaising with your clients, resolving any queries and also requesting all relevant information. You will also be involved in Xero conversion work as a number of the clients will be transferring over to this system in the coming months.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an experienced practice accountant and will consider ACA / ACCA / AAT qualified accountants as well as QBE applicants. You must have prior experience of delivering both accounts and tax compliance under FRS102 legislation and also any exposure to cloud based software, preferable Xero would be beneficial. The firm will consider both full time and part time applicants.
