Accountant (Cloud Software) - Permanent, Full Time - Up to £45,000 DOE

Hays is delighted to working alongside one of the top accountancy firms in the UK who have offices across Scotland, to support them in the recruitment of a permanent Cloud Accountant. The firm provide a wide range of accountancy services to a range of clients including, accounts, audit, taxation and advisory. This opportunity has come about at an exciting time of growth for the company as it embraces digital technology offerings.

Your new role
As a Cloud Accountant, you will be working across the firm's varied client base to support in utilising digital technology to manage and grow their businesses. You will have good cloud accounting knowledge and will use this to coach and guide clients. You will also work with staff within the firm to up skill the team and ensure a technological mindset is developed across the workforce.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to support clients with technology it is important that you have a good understanding of the challenges clients face as such you will be a qualified accountant with a good knowledge of statutory accounting. You will also have good technology experience and will be somewhat of an expert around cloud accounting. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to bring these topics to life with clients and staff alike.
