Job Details
We are looking for a motivated graduate or A-level school leaver who is keen to pursue a career in accountancy with a dynamic firm servicing a diverse range of clients in the North East of England. We would like the successful candidate to embark on a training plan towards being a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
Your initial duties will include:
- Bookkeeping for clients using the latest accounting software
- Analysing client data from source records using microsoft excel
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
- Assisting with the preparation of personal and business tax returns
- Assisting with payroll services
- Helping with general office duties where required to give a good overall knowledge of how an accountancy practice operates
