Your new role

The purpose of this role is to provide analysis and assistance to the management accounting function, developing an understanding of financial results against budget and forecast to help control costs within agreed budgets. The typical tasks for this role include; Owning the Pipeline reporting process from Team predictions to Office Management Reports and the Monthly "Finstats" dashboard tool, Preparing Discipline Pipeline reports based on an agreed reporting timetable, Maintaining the Partners, Associate and Team Manager (PATM) Summary Financial Report, Providing Key Support for PATMs re. the Team/Office Predictions and Resource Planner reports, Updating and maintain Monthly Team Results for Teams and Partners as part of the month end billing process including investigating and correcting anomalies, Supporting other elements of the month end fee billing process where required, Owning debtors reporting, producing the monthly debtors' day calculation and provide reasoning for movements, Preparing regular and ad hoc reports for cost modelling and fee reporting to assist business decision making utilising BI tools where appropriate (Top Clients, Sector/Discipline/Employees, Suppliers, Debtors), Building relationships and work with budget holders to gain develop a deep understanding of the administrative cost budgets and produce quarterly forecasts of expenditure, Owning the fixed asset register and produce the budget and forecast depreciation charge, Producing variance analysis for profit and loss administrative expenditure items as and where required, Producing monthly variance analysis for payroll costs against target, Creating and maintain automated and manual standard monthly journals, Performing balance sheet reconciliations, Preparing analysis of nominal cost codes for tax purposes
