Interim Head of Finance required for 6 month interim role Lincolnshire

Hays Senior Finance are working with a leading Lincolnshire not for profit organisation looking for an Interim Head of Finance for a 6 month role during a significant period of change and restructuring.

Your new role
Managing a large team via 2 direct reports, you will be responsible for the production and control of management and financial accounting, treasury management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, pension advice, internal audit committee work, grants, financial planning, budgets, capital projects, the production of financial reports and strategy, statutory returns and the preparation of the annual business plan.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant (CCAB) with excellent all round management and financial accounting experience gained in not for profit/local authority environments, a proven track record of establishing successful working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, successful management of staff at a senior level. You will be used to identifying and implementing process improvements. You will have excellent analytical skills including the ability to interpret accounting standards and guidance and assess their implications. You will have excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, including financial modelling, and Outlook and the ability to write financial reports and present them. You will have good knowledge of public sector pension arrangements and ideally have project management exposure. You will be able to commute regularly to the Lincolnshire area as the role will require office time every week in a hybrid working model.
