Are you an ACA Qualified Accounts Senior, either recently qualified or with up to 2 years post qualification experience, from a practice background and looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 Central London based practice firm? Are you from a small or medium size practice background and looking for a larger firm which has an excellent track record in training and providing support for staff from smaller firms? Are you looking to get a large firm name on your CV, work in a friendly office and have the opportunity to work with a mixture of large international businesses, but also smaller SME clients from a wide range of sectors, including property, media, entertainment, renewable energy, retail, gaming and financial services? If so, this growing international Top 20 accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in the City is looking to recruit a new qualified Accounts Senior due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include preparing statutory accounts for Ltd Companies from start to finish mainly under FRS 102, management accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, supervising juniors on bookkeeping work and various reports, analysis and business management assignments for a wide range of very interesting clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a large team that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future. The firm also offers Flexible / hybrid working allowing all staff to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home (and often 2 days in the office and 3 days from home!). The firm have had great success recruiting candidates from smaller firm backgrounds and candidates relocating to London from regional practice firms.

To be considered for this new role (July 2022) it is likely you will be a fully qualified ACA Accounts Senior with at least 3 years of experience working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts (and ideally management accounts) from scratch and completing corporation tax and VAT returns. Experience of a wide range of cloud based software packages, including Xero, would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 practice where you can continue with your accountancy career and work on an interesting client base and receive great opportunities to progress in a short space of time.

This growing Top 20 international accountancy firm with over 400 staff in its London office has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of industries. The Accounts & Business Services department is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms, including the Big 4. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality qualified Accounts Senior from a small or medium size practice background to join a leading player within Statutory Accounts and Business Services and carry out a high profile role with great training and genuine progression to Manager grade on offer.
