This is a newly created role working as Finance Business Partner, business partnering site management and working closely with the operational team to support on key decision making. This is a varied role, responsible for financial analysis and understanding the drivers of manufacturing costs, to influence the ongoing performance of the site.

Description

As Finance Business Partner for their manufacturing site, your duties will include:

  • Business partnering the local site management team, to support on business challenges and strategies
  • Provide timely and relevant financial reporting to management and operational teams
  • Continuous improvement of financial reporting practices
  • Manage cost accounting processes
  • Analyse monthly manufacturing costs and plant performance
  • Analyse monthly stock valuations
  • Communicate outcomes of the production process to relevant stakeholders
  • Play a leading role in increasing effectiveness and efficiency of the wider finance team
  • Ah hoc support to wider operational and management team

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Confident business partner - ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive and commercially minded
  • Ability to analyse manufacturing costs
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Offer

In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£45-52k (dependent on experience), plus an excellent wider benefits package. They are operating a hybrid working pattern, with a blend of office and homeworking.
