Financial Controller | £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Shares | Bicester
Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join an fast-moving start up in the Luxury / High-End Automotive sector. The Financial Controller will be the number 2 to the FD, managing the Finance function with a wide variety of duties, including managing accounts, budgeting, cashflow modelling etc.
You will play a vital role in management and growth of the company, that is about to go through a funding round.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:
- Full management of the day-to-day Finance function
- Management Accounts, Accruals Prepayments etc.
- Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and reported
- Budgeting and Business Partnering with department heads
- Supporting the presentation of reports to directors, stakeholders, and board members
- Creating reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Managing data from across the business to ensure BI tools are accurate
- Managing the AP & AR team (3 heads)
- Managing cashflow models
- Managing company cards
- Multicurrency reporting
- Ad hoc requirements from the Finance Director
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:
- Part / Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or QBE
- 'Can do' attitude and happy being hands on
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic & passionate about the business
- Experience working in a fast paced, start-up environment
- Experience working with an ERP system, ideally SAP B1
- Comfortable working in a high growth environment with autonomy
