Financial Governance Manager Full-Time Permanent Hybrid Up-to £50k

Hays is excited to be working with this large financial services organisation who are looking to recruit a Full-Time Financial Governance Manager to join their inclusive team.

Your new role
As a full-time permanent Financial governance manager, you will be required to lead the maintenance and further development of cash management policies and controls as well as internal control and tax and accounting policies. The role will involve managing mandates and payment delegated authorities as well as managing payment systems. You will be required to develop an effective tax strategy and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations. You will also drive continuous improvement within the finance team and empower colleagues to suggest improvements and give constructive feedback.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and strengthening policy and control frameworks. You will have a strong accounting background preferably with experience in a financial services firm. Knowledge of finance policies and key controls would be an advantage.
