Michael Page are partnering with a family run SME to find a Senior Management Accountant in a newly created role, reporting into the Managing Director.
Client Details
The business turnover c£25m with ambitions to grow significantly by the end of the year and are an independent family run business within the recyclables industry in operation for over 30 years.
A new role has been created for a Senior Management Accountant, focusing on managing a small team and being responsible for monthly group reporting and management accounts, establishing management reports as required and being a business partner to the wider team.
Description
- Overseeing production of timely and accurate monthly Management accounts
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
- Establishing management reports and KPI reporting
- Monthly Accruals and prepayments
- Management of the fixed assets
- Stock reconciliation
- Journal ledger postings
- Bank reconciliations
- Weekly payment runs
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the Budgeting and forecasting
- Manufacturing cost analysis
- Management of cash flow
- Audit preparation and liaison
Profile
Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferable but ACCA/ACA considered)
Experience in manufacturing/production desirable but not essential
Experience working in an SME environment
Self-starter able to be proactive in their approach
Good business partner
