Client Details
My client is a Public Sector organisation based in Cardiff
Description
Reporting to the Director of Finance the Financial Controller runs the day to day finance activities and manages 1 member of staff.
Job role will include;
- Production of the Monthly Management Accounts
- Budget and forecasting
- Stakeholder engagement and regular meetings with budget holders
- presenting the management accounts at Board
- VAT returns
- 1/4 drawdowns from the Welsh Government
- Managing ERDF grants
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA (or other relevant qualification)
You will have excellent management accounting skills
Ideally you will have used XERO, however If not you will be good with Accounting systems
good excel skills
Good stakeholder engagement skills
it would be a bonus if you had ERDF experience
Job Offer
initial 3 - 6 month temporary assignment
potential for t2p
salary c £200 - £210 per day
hybrid working 1-2 days a week in the office
