An opportunity to work as a Senior Management Accountant for a sports organisation in the UK. This role will sit as part of the central finance team and report into the Head of Finance.

My client are a leading sports organisation in the UK.
Description
The core responsibilities will be/include:
- Developing a deep knowledge of diverse business areas, their needs and priorities, looking at the bigger picture to make sure that the business understands the financial implications of decisions and available choices.
- Acting as key liaison point between Finance and the business, building in depth understanding of different business areas and performance and delivery priorities.
- Providing analysis to support decision making and using bench marking to highlight opportunities and add value.
- Identifying sustainable cost savings targets and initiatives as part of the business planning cycle.
- Supporting business areas with financial analysis to prepare for Spending Reviews, risk management and business planning processes.
Profile
The successful candidate will be/have
- qualified Accountant (or qualified by experience)
- experience working as a Management Accountant in a medium sized organisation preferred
- third Sector experience preferred but not essential
- good understanding of reporting standards
Job Offer
£44,000- £52,000 depending on experience
20%-60%- work from office split (depending on workload)
satellite offices also considered
up to 12% pension contribution
30 days annual leave
