My client is a well-known construction business, who are continuing to grow in the UK, as well as expanding their footprint internationally. Their finance team is based in North Yorkshire, and offer a collaborative environment, with real opportunities to progress your career.
Description
As Management Accountant, your duties will include:
- Cashflow forecasting and ongoing forecast process
- Budget process
- Leading on process improvement
- Month end accounting and reporting
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Business partnering with IT teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Supporting the Head of Manufacturing Finance with finance analysis of costs
- Assisting Group Tax Manager with VAT returns
- Supporting external advisors
- Supporting on statutory accounts
- Finance support for European business
- Contract Analysis
- Ad hoc support to UK Financial Controller and wider finance team
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Excellent communication skills - ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Prior financial reporting/management accounting experience
- Ambitious and motivated to develop your own experience
- Team player
Job Offer
In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£40-45k (dependent on experience) + wider package. The team are operating a hybrid working pattern, with a blend of office and homeworking.
