Job Details

  • Reporting into a very experienced Group Financial Controller, you will manage the financial and management reporting team
  • You will be the lead relationship for the Group with the auditors
  • You will be the key person when it comes to Group and Individual subsidiary statutory accounts

  • My client is a global and UK market leader in the manufacturer of chemical products
  • They are one of the biggest companies in the world, and employee over 30,000 people
  • This role sits within one of the subsidiaries but works in tandem with the parent company
  • The company has stunning offices in London's trendy west end and whilst the staff mostly work from the office, they do allow flexibility for working from home

Description

  • You'll be the lead relationship for their Group with the auditors

  • You will oversee and control the production of the IFRS monthly management accounts, which each subsidiary submits individually.

  • You'll therefore be the key person when it comes to the Group and Individual statutory accounts

  • The business is international, with operations in the US, UK, and Germany and across Europe, therefore the role will involve some travel to meet the finance leads in those territories and support them with any accounting issues

  • You will be involved with the technical accounting associated with the Group's M&A projects

  • You will also oversee the management accounting team

Profile

  • Preferably Big 4 or Top 6 trained Chartered Accountant
  • Extensive Audit experience required
  • Proven and up to date IFRS knowledge is essential
  • Proven management and leadership skills are required
