Finance Manager to lead a high performing team
Your new company
This rapidly expanding International business is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager who is eager to further their leadership career within a high performing team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing rigour across the month end process ensuring the close is accurate and on time. You will provide periodic management reports to your stakeholder group whilst analysing any trends in addition to producing supporting commentary. You will prepare the statutory accounts in line with reporting standards (FRS 101/102/IFRS) whilst ensuring any upgrades in legislation are duly taken into account. Reporting into the Head of Finance you will oversight for corporation tax in addition to the preparation of VAT returns. You will oversee cash flow and drive a number of process improvement projects. Managing a high performing team, you will oversee the day to day financial ledgers including payroll which will require an engaging leader with proven managerial experience.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an qualified accountant with strong management reporting, business partnering and statutory reporting skills (in line with FRS102/IFRS). Some prior leadership exposure is certainly desirable but there is plenty of support around you to further your managerial competencies.
