I am delighted to be working in partnership with a highly successful, growing charity in the Bradford area who are looking to recruit a Head of Finance into a newly created role

Your new role
In this newly created role you will report directly to the CEO and form part of the senior leadership team for the charity. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and help the strategic vision and growth of the organisation and to develop the finance and corporate services functions of the organisation. Leading a team of 6, the role will involve oversight and leadership of the finance function and ensuring robust financial management including financial control, financial reporting and analysis, statutory and regulatory returns; oversight and development of corporate services functions including HR, Fundraising, IT/Business Support, Administration etc..

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally be a qualified accountant or suitably experienced with experience of operating at a strategic level, leading a team across a number of service areas, primarily finance. You will have experience of presenting to a Board with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence. you will have experience of delivering projects and delivering change within an organisation. This role is a key appointment in the progression of the organisation and to achieving it's overall mission, vision and values and to creating a sustainable business model for the future.
