Your new company
You will be working for an instantly recognisable leisure PLC with operations all over the globe. The business is going through an exciting time of change and is looking to add to its portfolio, so you will be directly involved with M&A work. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to take on a broad finance role, reporting directly into an impressive CFO.
Your new role
You will be working in a broad finance role, reporting directly to the CFO. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Management of the accounting process for 10 different countries
- Business partnering with general and area managers
- Coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of financial statements and group consolidation under IFRS
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with IFRS and consolidation experience. You will be a technically strong accountant with the gravitas to perform commercial responsibilities as a major part of your role. The business are open to hiring someone from a practice or industry trained background.
