Purchase Ledger Manager, Permanent Job, £35,000 - £40,000, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Your new company
I am currently working with a leading, well-established construction company based in Huntington who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join their Finance department.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director and Finance Manager, you will be overseeing the day-to-day running of the Purchase Ledger department, managing the workflow of the PL team, managing the processing and forecasting of payments, taking ownership of monthly reconciliations, maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring month-end is closed off correctly. You will also be managing KPIs within the PL team and providing the FD with periodic reports. You will play a key factor in the efficiency of the Purchase Ledger team (process automation, software system implementation)
What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong management experience with a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. You will have an understanding of software systems such as Dynamics, Road runner, Elemos and IWS and of course have a clear understanding of the full Purchase Ledger process. AAT and/or Management qualifications are desirable but not essential.
What you'll get in return
My client is offering £35,000 - £40,000 with additional benefits.
