A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants with multiple offices across the Cheshire region are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join either their Macclesfield, Leek or Northwich offices. This opportunity has arisen due to continued business wins and is a great opportunity to join the firm in a full time role in a client facing capacity.


Your new role
As a Portfolio Manager, you will join a busy and fast paced team. In this client facing role you will support the Partner with the delivery of compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of clients. Day to day duties will include preparation and review of statutory accounts for SMEs, tax compliance and other ad hoc projects such as due diligence assignments, management accounts and management consultancy. You will also manage audit assignments to Partner review. Supervisory duties will include taking a lead on the client relationship, reviewing the work and training the juniors.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has gained some post qualified experience. As this role is client facing and encompasses staff management duties you must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and good time management. The firm are seeking an ambitious and passionate accountant looking to progress their career in a fast paced modern accountancy firm.
