Head of Finance

Reporting into the CFO, you'll be expected to provide financial and management accounting, and reporting to the business
You'll have direct management of the finance team, and will oversee the credit control and accounts payable processes across the international group.

The business comprises of a UK based start-up company with sales across the globe
The company is based in a beautiful office in London's west end. This role can offer you the full flexibility to work at home as much as you like, with travel to the office expected once a fortnight.

Description

This role will lead the finance function for the company, functionally reporting into the CFO, but directly business partnering the CEO and COO.
You'll be part of the senior leadership team and will play an important part in setting the strategic direction and delivering the results for the business
You'll be responsible for all accounting aspects of the business, both in terms of transactional processing and reporting, and also regarding internal controls.
You'll also be responsible for all VAT and reporting from the ERP system for the business.
You'll be expected to challenge and provide information to influence decision making and drive improvements across different business areas.
Additionally the role is also responsible for the credit management and accounts payable processes across the group.

Profile

Fully qualified accountant
7-10 years post-qualified management and financial accounting experience in an consumer goods environment
Experience of working in a multi-entity environment with international accounting experience
Experience of leading a team
Ability to business partner with C suite level stakeholders
