Audit & Accounts Senior

Are you looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? Then we have an exciting opportunity to support our Business and Corporate Services team in Truro providing a range of audit, accountancy and tax related services to both new and established clients.

About you: 

• AAT or ACA/ ACCA qualified
• Previous relevant audit experience and experience in accounts preparation for partnerships/ LLPs and limited companies
• Proficient in MS Office 2007 (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook) and Sage

What you’ll be doing:

• Dealing with the completion of annual accounts and tax computations, for both incorporated and unincorporated businesses over £250k turnover; plus occasionally UK holding companies of overseas subsidiaries
• Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements
• Drafting correspondence for clients; liaising with HMRC, by telephone and email
• Providing varied administrative and business services for clients
• Training student AAT staff
