Statutory Accountant, ACA, ACCA immediately available - opportunity to work remotely

A Leading global provider of professional services and technology solutions to the insurance industry are looking for an Interim Statutory Accountant for a period of three months.


Your new role

The role in responsible for the Record to Report (R2R) operations including preparation of annual statutory accounts for the group or one of their businesses. The incumbent will be expected to support and work closely with their assigned Finance Business Partner and Management Accountant. Your responsibilities are as follows:

• Preparation and delivery of statements, accounts and reports for filing with statutory bodies and authorities
• Authorising notes and disclosures for the Statements
• Audit Preparation
• Working to deadlines for the delivery of statutory reports, etc.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Provide expertise in relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UK GAAP.
• Experience of working with local regulators, including Companies House and HMRC

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience with SUN Accounts or Sage 50
• Highly numerate
