Qualified general practice accountant ACA ACCA ICAEW for small accountancy firm in Eastleigh Hants

You will be working for a professional, friendly two partner firm of Chartered Accountants based in the Eastleigh area of Southampton. The firm has been established for over 20 years and has a broad range of clients including a number of charities, and many clients still requiring annual audits.

This is a key role for the firm and you will be Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients and possibly also some aspects of practice management. This may include staffing matters such as managing workflow and management meetings, assisting with internal training and appraisals, along with technical research and keeping up to date generally and client training where appropriate. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in internal benchmarking and development of reporting processes as a part of this varied and challenging position.

The partners are looking to appoint a fully qualified accountant, either ACA or ACCA, and require the successful individual to have a significant amount of recent exposure in a similar role within another accountancy firm. They are also able to consider someone who is looking for a step-up in their career as they are able to offer a great deal of support to the right person if they fit the firm's culture. They could also consider someone looking for 3-4 days per week.
