Full Time
  • Reporting into a very experienced CFO, you will oversee the running of the finance team at the London head office
  • You will work closely with their Chief Transformation Officer on their ambitious programme to further develop and enhance their business which includes sustainability and deficiencies and transformation

Client Details

  • My client is one of the UK's most prestigious Real Estate and asset management companies which has an asset portfolio valued at £600 million
  • The portfolio is made up of land and commercial and residential assets, businesses and retail outlets
  • Most of their commercial portfolio is based in London which includes a number of buildings let as shops and offices with significant development opportunities. There are further urban properties both in London and elsewhere, especially the North, as well as a range of other commercial and development opportunities on the estates outside of London.
  • The head office is small with around 30-40 employees, and they typically travel into the office 4 days a week


  • Reporting into the CFO, you will oversee the day to day running of the finance team which will focus on reporting, controls and continuous improvement
  • Working closely with the CFO and senior management team help to steer the development of the reporting towards emerging ESG benchmarks and performance measures
  • You'll also support the CTO on their transformation programme under which they will improve the efficiency of their systems, automate key business processes and deliver the accurate data they need to manage all aspects of the business.
  • You'll have ownership of the Qube property management and general ledger system
  • Delivery of quarterly accounts with particular ownership of the balance sheet, management and forecasting of resource and other central costs
  • Preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts and management of the annual audit.
  • Full responsibility for all balance sheet financial controls including reconciliations - submission of VAT returns.


  • Qualified with financial reporting and audit experience
  • Experienced people manager and leader
  • Ability to interact with and influence Executive level stakeholders
