The Interim Head of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) will lead the DCM activities undertaken by the business including, but not limited to, the issuance programmes for unsecured and secured debt, debt investor relations and the reporting on existing transactions, whilst developing a DCM strategy.

Strategy
- Develop the bank's DCM strategy, executing funding arrangements in line with the business plan
- Manage and lead the implementation of new funding lines, being responsible for owning the end to end processes, including the operational aspects of DCM transactions
- Own Debt Investor Relationship planning
- Develop ESG research and Treasury's approach towards product offerings, disclosures and direction of ESG policy
Processes
- Drive the secured funding reporting processes, taking ownership for proactively proposing disclosure and its development
- Develop approaches for enhancing internal measurement and reporting of performance metrics
- Prepare reports that provide clear and accurate analyses and that identify and track risks within appropriate timeframes
People
- Recruit, train and employ high calibre employees within budget, headcount levels and temporary resource requirements
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
Profile
Essential
- Proven experience of Debt Capital Markets in Financial Services or Banking
- Management experience in a similar role in a Bank or Financial Services Company
