A highly successful and reputable, independent firm of accountants with offices over Devon and Somerset is searching for a key, Accountancy Practice Director / Partner Potential addition with scope to come on board on an equity/profit share basis from start, or on a salaried basis initially with a view to ownership on a negotiable timescale.

With several offices covering locations across Devon and Somerset the firms managing director has developed a highly profitable business, having invested heavily on technology, efficiency's and built a committed, stable and long serving team around him. The firm acts for a wide spectrum of varied industry sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to the audit threshold in turnover on larger clients, so the firm focuses on the provision of accounts, tax and wider all around general practice services on the compliance side, as well delivering wide ranging advisory/planning and added value services around this.

Description

Joining the firm around the Accountancy Practice Director / Partner Potential levels, mouldable around the background, level and preferences of the right professional whilst you will utilise your technical career background across accounts/tax etc and delivery of compliance and advisory services to clients etc, the main emphasis of your role will be a much more of an operational and leadership focused role, maintaining and building on the further development and growth of the firms offices. You will therefore have a strategical role and play a lead in the future growth and director of this already established, successful firm. As a result of succession and planning for his exit, the firms MD is looking to hand over full responsibility and running of the business to the right person. He will therefore be interested in the right individual coming on board from start on an equity/profit share basis for those already at Partner/Director level. Or for entrepreneurial Senior Managers/Partner Designate professionals seeking the chance for ownership with the desire to invest on a negotiable timescale that works for both sides, the MD is equally keen to consider bringing the right person on board on a salaried basis initially.

Profile

To be suitable for this Accountancy Practice Director / Partner Potential role you will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA etc qualified with a career background within accountancy practice developed within accounting firm environments of any size. You will be seeking a career move with opportunity to lead and develop an already well established and successful firm of independent accountants. Given the office range, the right professional could be based from any location near Plymouth through to Exeter across Devon. Or also into the Somerset region, commutable to the Taunton region, as your main office base can work across any of their office locations.

Job Offer
