The role of the Financial Reporting Manager will assist the Financial Planning & Analysis Team, and the wider Trust, in the development and roll out of analysis and reports for the Operational, Commercial and Support Services teams

Description
Act as the senior administrator of our Adaptives Insights Financial Planning and Reporting solution Work as part of the transition team supporting new initiatives and new finance system
Work with and understand the financial reporting requirements of the Operational, Commercial and Support Services teams
Ensure that the data is validated as part of the reporting cycle to ensure that accurate information is provided to users
Develop new reports as new opportunities and programmes are implemented within the Trust and ad-hoc reports as required by key stakeholders
Prepare a standard suite of reports and key performance indicators for the key stakeholders with the Trust, including The Trustees, Sub-Committees, Trading Board, ELT and SLT
Develop reports that provide feedback on the stability of internal controls and notify senior managers of control breaches
Prepare complex models to understand the financial stability of the Trust, including Cashflow and Balance Sheet reports
Prepare reports of varying scenarios in order that the Trust can understand the range of risks it needs to manage
Develop a performance reporting framework and a suite of key performance indicators in order to monitor the financial health of the Trust
Develop the Monthly Management Pack and forecast review packs with the Management Accounting Team and support with the production and distribution
Prepare reports and analysis on the movement and projections of Reserves and the m
Profile
Ideally, a qualified accountant with understanding of long-range forecasting, including balance sheet and cashflow forecasting
Advanced excel user with ability to build complex financial models
Detailed knowledge of financial forecasting systems, ideally Adaptives insights
Experience of analysing financial data and preparing financial reports
Experience of categorising data and developing reports that indicate strength of the internal controls
Experience of transition projects including finance systems
