Interim Finance Business Partner for a 3 month assignment for a charity. within education - quick start

Your new role

You will be working a Finance Business Partner within a small charitable organisation who are looking for some interim support whilst they carry out permanent recruitment.

You will be reporting directly in to the CEO and be responsible for ensuring strong financial management and control across and ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and procedural requirements. To manage relationships with key stakeholders / budget holders and to ensure that finance considerations are a key component of organisational decision making.

You will be also looking at some of the recommendations that were made in terms of process improvement as well.

Management of a team of 2. There is a management accountant to provide you with the management accounts monthly, and then you are responsible for speaking to the budget holders and conveying the current position, any relevant important information on variances and reasons.

Year end is coming up and so you may also get involved in the audit process too.


What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will have experience operating with key stakeholders providing support and guidance
Management accounting background
Ideally qualified but also happy to look at part qualified and QBE
A positive mind set and attitude


What you'll get in return

In return there is the potential of a permanent role. The temp role is based in their modern offices in Wolverhampton. Some home working is available as and when required.
