A mid-tier regional firm is expanding their team and looking to recruit a driven and diligent Qualified Assistant Manager.
Your new role
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of clients, leading statutory audits, reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies, completed VAT returns and corporation tax returns and also support junior staff members. In addition to this, there would be opportunities to work on client projects and develop junior staff members.
What you'll need to succeed
This firm is looking to appoint a qualified (ACA/ACCA) accountant with experience in audit, the ability to prepare accounts and corporation tax returns as well as the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients. Experience with cloud based bookkeeping software would be needed, as would a high attention to detail and professional manner.
