JOB DESCRIPTION

The fully Qualified Chartered Accountant role requires you to provide audit, accountancy and taxation services to diverse client base ranging from small businesses and startups to substantial international groups.

This means you will:

  • Develop an understanding of our client’s and their businesses Prepare accounts for Limited Companies, Partnership, Sole trader and not for profit organisations. Prepare Vat returns, Corporation tax and Income tax returns. Complete audit from start to finish including planning and allocating responsibilities to team members Discuss queries with client staff, obtaining relevant information and explanations Review team members’ work and provide feedback Highlight issues and problems for the attention of senior management and raise points to partner.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be able to deliver first class client service and work effectively as part of a team and reporting directly to the Partners Must have an audit experience in previous role. Ability to use accounting and auditing software’s preferably Sageline50, Xero, SAPA etc. Demonstrate an ability to think and communicate clearly and logically Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Require a respect for confidentiality Have a high level of general commercial awareness

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant – ACA (ICAEW)
  • Must have at least a strong 2.1 / 2.2 degree in any discipline or AAT qualification and relevant qualification if you have not used degree route for ACA qualification.
