They are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their Accountancy team in Gosport.
Description
Assistant Financial Controller - Gosport
- Full ownership of the balance sheet ensuring accuracy and integrity is maintained throughout.
- Responsibility for posting or reviewing all manual journal entries.
- Continue to improve and manage cash-flow and liquidity.
- Central point of contact between Finance and the wider business, driving excellent communication, process improvements and troubleshooting.
- Ownership of intra-group recharges for costs incurred on behalf of central Group function.
- Manage and reconcile Right of Use assets under IFRS16.
- Maintain accounting records for 4 non-trading UK entities.
- Prepare quarterly VAT return and ensure compliance with VAT regulations
- Prepare and submit annual P11D(b) and PSA returns.
- Prepare annual budget.
- Own and manage the FX short- and long-term foreign currency requirements, including the interaction with relevant local management and the Group Treasury function.
- Assist with the co-ordination and administration of the company's insurance programs and claims.
- Take the lead in preparing information for and the completion of the company's corporation tax computations and statutory accounts. Including significant interaction with Group auditors and tax advisors
- Ensure all external reporting requirement are met in an accurate and timely manner.

- ACA, ACCA and CIMA Qualified or Qualified Experience
