Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established & global client for an experienced Finance Manger to join their team. The role offers an excellent salary of up to £65,000 + 33 days annual leave, competitive pension and discretionary bonus. This role is office based in Arbroath

Your new role

Acting as the most senior member of the Finance team based in the Office, you will complete a variety of duties with a focus on Accountancy & also Business. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a small finance team of 2. You will be responsible for preparation, review, and accuracy of finance and accounting activities within the department, including executing financial close activities, reviewing and updating business practices, performing internal control self-assessments, preparing forecasts and annual business plans. You will complete financial & business analysis and be integral to strategic decision making and performing ongoing process improvements. You will provide advice on key financial issues, financial performance, or financial processes and participate in strategic business decision making providing relevant financial models to assist the process.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a highly experienced Qualified Finance Manager / Controller who is also a strong finance business partner & confident and competent in being involved with strategic decision making & process improvement. You will demonstrate strong knowledge in aspects of general accounting, internal controls and risk mitigation, company policy, financial analysis and statutory reporting, forecasting, and financial applications of varying complexity.
