Description
Audit Execution Perform assigned activities ensuring the nature and extent of testing is appropriate to support the audit findings and conclusion. Execute the audit plan to meet the audit objectives within the budgeted time. Ensure documentation of work is of a high standard, supports audit conclusions and is in accordance with department standards. Work as part of the team in ensuring appropriate audit coverage and minimize duplicate audit efforts within the group.
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.
Profile
The Audit Manager will need background in :
Auditing and accounting knowledge/experience focused on captial markets, related operations and support functions. · Experience of auditing other corporate functions like Finance, Risk management, Compliance, Human Resources will be an asset. · Good analytical skills necessary to assess risks of various products and operational processes. · Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the capital markets. · Ability to problem solve and multi-task. · Thorough ability to write clear, concise audit reports as well as internal and external communication
