A highly successful firm of independent accountants planning for the future development and growth of their business based near Bridgwater is searching for the right Manager / Senior Manager as aa pivotal hire and support to the firms director with scope to take on increasing responsibility and potential for progression and ownership.
Client Details
Based in offices near Bridgwater the firm's clients are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range to cover the range of smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs and SMEs, ranging into the £millions in turnover. The firms director is looking for a key right hand support who can lead on the management and delivery of accounting/tax and wider services, along with adding value to clients on advisory and tax planning projects. Part Time and flexible working hours can be explored for the right person, equally alongside full time hours, with hybrid working on offer additionally.
Description
Joining this firm as Manager / Senior Manager mouldable around the background and level of the right professional you will bring your career strengths and background as an all-rounder accounts, tax etc adviser to sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with a hands-on approach when needed. Alongside managing the compliance and delivery on this side, working with your team in a review/mentoring and training capacity, you will also lead on delivering added value, advisory and planning work to clients. This would encompass corporate tax advisory project work for example and other wide ranging technical planning work delivery. For those looking for a progression path and entrepreneurial ambitions there is definite scope on offer to progress towards ownership within the firm as well.
Profile
You will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA qualified etc, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to at least highly experienced Manager / Senior Manager levels. You will have an all-around general practitioner career background gained within any of small, medium/large size, mid-tier, or top tier firm background ideally across any of - audit, accounts and tax as an all-round general accountancy practice professional and you will be seeking a challenging, long term career move in the profession at this level either on a full time, or part time basis.
Job Offer
