Senior SOx Compliance Analyst

• Initial specific responsibility for review of legal contracts to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards - liaison with commercial business and finance teams as required
• Support existing UK Finance team with other additional SOx procedures arising.
• Support UK Compliance Manager with other ad-hoc procedures to ensure smooth implementation ahead of external audit

• Initial specific responsibility for review of legal contracts to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards - liaison with commercial business and finance teams as required
• Support existing UK Finance team with other additional SOx procedures arising.
• Support UK Compliance Manager with other ad-hoc procedures to ensure smooth implementation ahead of external audit

Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post qualified experience and strong technical accounting skills - working knowledge of IFRS 15 is desirable but not required
• Experience of operating/testing internal financial controls (SOx experience preferred)
• Confident individual with good interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels, deliver through others and communicate clearly
• Has a continuous improvement mindset - experience of resolving issues as they arise and implementing new processes to enhance financial control environment
• Ability to prioritise tasks and strong organisational skills
• Must be comfortable with working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
• Friendly and approachable
