Practice Manager

As an Office Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the firm. In addition to making sure all processes are running as efficiently as possible, you will also have a portfolio of clients to look after.

This team of around 20 staff provides a variety of clients with a personal and professional accounting service, helping them with any needs they may have. From sole traders to established business, this firm helps support businesses of all sizes.

Description

As an Office Manager, your duties will include;

• Dealing with your own portfolio of clients.
• Ensuring the day to day running of the practice occurs in an efficient manner.
• Responsibility for staffing requirements, both for individuals joining and leaving.
• Ensuring staff appraisals are undertaken.
• Tracking staff training and Continued Professional Development.
• Explore implementation of new systems.
• Guiding the firm through MTD.
• Developing client portal for sending and receiving data.
• Internal file reviews, as well as budget reviews for the firm, and clients.
• Ongoing business development.

Profile

• Previous experience in a similar role desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience within a UK Practice and general accounts knowledge essential.
• Experience with management of staff.
• Resilient and progressive mindset.
