Assistant Finance Manager - £30,000-£35,000 - Banbury - Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company in the automotive industry. The purpose of the role is to support the Finance Manager in their duties with the view to progress into a Finance Management role in due course.

Your new role
As the successful candidate your responsibilities will include:

• Collect, interpret and review financial information
• Produce financial reports related to budgets
• Develop long-term business plans
• Review, monitor and manage budgets
• Monitor day-to-day financial operations in business
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Liaise with auditors for VAT returns
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate you will need:

• Ability to synthesise complex data into actionable information
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience of Migration software
• Experience of Microsoft AX Dynamic 365
• 5 years experience in accounting
• An analytical mind and keen eye for detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
