Qualified Chartered Accountant

We are a long established and well-respected Chartered Accountancy Practice in Harrogate acting for a range of clients across Yorkshire and beyond.

This position is for a qualified Chartered Accountant who will work alongside our audit and accounting teams and also liaise with our tax and payroll staff.

The role will involve audit and accounts work, reporting direct to directors/partners as well as delegating and reviewing students work and ensuring that work is completed on a timely basis.

You should be able to complete/oversee audit work from planning, through fieldwork to completion. You also should be proficient in all aspects of accounts preparation including bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts and preparation of year end accounts. You will use a range of audit/accounts software for which training will be given as appropriate.

A CTA qualification or willingness to study CTA exams would be an advantage, though not a requirement.

Excellent computer literacy would be expected as would good previous exam results.
