Job Details

Our client is looking for someone to come in and head up the finance function for one of their hubs in Northampton. You would have full autonomy across the site and would work closely with operations on a day to day basis.

Description

  • Responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts
  • Producing monthly reporting requirements
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
    • VAT returns and point of contact with HMRC
    • Inter company statement and reconciliations and liaison with inter company partners
    • Point of contact for both internal and external audit queries
  • Produce monthly reforecasts, annual budgets and long range plans, working with the leadership teams based both in the UK and US
  • Provide financial oversight and leadership for the business, and sharing insights through monthly and quarterly reporting at leadership staff meetings
  • Prepare and interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of progress towards financial objectives in annual budgets, plans and projections
  • Analyse KPI's (incl. Profitability, sales growth and expenses) for key monthly variances and prepare meaningful commentary for leadership

Profile

- Qualified Accountant

- Commercial exposure and understanding

- Manufacturing/ FMCG experience would be advantageous

- Strong excel skills
