Your new role
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy
- Producing statutory financial statements, including consolidated accounts
- Managing the annual statutory accounts process European entity
- Managing the annual corporation tax return process for European entities
- Calculating and reviewing of monthly tax packs
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Preparing of Board Papers
- Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team
- Support and cover for Finance Manager
- Contribute to Finance led projects
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.)
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, to include consolidating accounts
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills for both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
- Good organisational and prioritising skills with the ability to deliver against deadlines
- A high level of attention to detail
- Experience using SAP and Advanced Excel skills is beneficial
