- Responsible for timely preparation and delivery of management accounts for internal stakeholders and priority joint venture partners.
- Preparation of significant revenue, property transaction and other ad hoc journals, liaising with business unit finance teams to check accuracy and completeness of postings

My client is a leading construction brand with a Head Office based in the West Midlands.
Description
- Responsibility for the completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of other month end journals following established processes, but critically assessing inputs and outputs to have an understanding of journals being posted
- Consolidation of the results of the Group under IFRS
- Input into posting the accounting treatment of significant transactions in the Group
- Preparation and maintenance of the Group's accounting policies and procedures, including process notes and the implementation and monitoring of controls
- Significant input into the preparation of the Annual Report
- Supporting the Group Accounting Manager in the accounting for acquisitions
- Preparation of the subsidiary and joint venture accounts process under FRS101/102
Profile
- Qualified ACA or equivalent
- Expert financial accountant under IFRS and FRS101/102
- Consolidations and preparation of UK listed financial accounts
- Familiarity with UK audit procedures
- Strong excel skills
